The origins of the Carmina brand date back to 1866 when Matias Pujadas opened a modest workshop in Inca, Mallorca, Spain where he crafted tailor-made shoes. The family tradition has been preserved to the present day. Jose Albaladejo Pujadas, great-grandson to the founder, is committed to manufacturing some of the world’s best hand-crafted shoes. Carmina produce Goodyear Welted shoes of the finest caliber and are a welcomed addition to TheShoeMart family of high quality men’s dress shoes. They will appeal to our customers who miss the presence of Moreschi’s handcrafted footwear.

Carmina pride themselves on their manufacturing process. Every shoe is made using traditional Goodyear double stitching and submitted to a strict quality control process to ensure each pair meets the highest standards of excellence for quality. Skilled craftsmen scrutinize every detail including the last, pattern, material, welt, sole, and finish. The entire process takes fifteen to twenty days, and the results speak for themselves! Carmina shoes are unique products that reflect the pride and craftsmanship with which they made; an increasingly rare thing to find.
