How To Care for Deerskin Moccasins:

Clean and Protect with a delicate leather cream. Minnetonka recommends their Suede & Leather Cleaner. Always test leather care products on an inconspicuous part of your shoes to be sure it gives the results you desire. Some leather products will darken leather.

Remove Stains by gently spot treating with water and a gentle cleaner, such as baby shampoo. Rub very gently in a circular motion with a damp cloth. If the stain is greasy, skip the water and try using a little baby powder to draw the grease out instead. Avoid rubbing the baby powder into the leather, instead use a soft brush to remove the excess.

Always Air Dry your shoes. Stick white tissue paper inside to help maintain the form of your moccasins as they dry. Putting shoes in direct sunlight or next to a heating source may fade or crack the leather, reducing the life of your shoes.
