Today's fan feature of Alden shoes out in the wild comes from Instagram user @feylanks. This awesome shot was taken in the Alphabet City neighborhood of Manhattan's East Village and features an Alden Indy boot in Black Shell Cordovan with a Commando Sole. Our current Black Shell Cordovan Alden Indy Boot is Style #40569C on the Alden TruBalance Last with Commando soles and heels. It has traditional Alden Indy boot stitching, including the moccasin toe detail. We think the genuine black shell cordovan leather on this make-up makes the classic, rugged Alden Indy work-boot silhouette look just a bit sleeker and adds versatility. The Alden TruBalance Last is designed to be voluminous to accommodate most foot types and thick socks, so we normally recommend going True To Size.
